Ušuškan u čamotinji
Zbijeno zgrljen u golotinji
Iskasapljen pokajanjima
Prezir se ni ne prišunjava
Istrošena, oronula boksačka vreća
Hrpa izbegnutih (samo)sažaljenja
Ipak život se nastavlja
Radi daljeg odlaganja
Svestan i savestan
Pronicljiv i naivan
Alav i ponizan
Spašen i poguban
Ako iskrenost traži prave reči,
onda sve što imam je istina
Int(r)o the Nothingness Of Our Hearts
- Preuzeto iz filma:”I, Daniel Blake”
- Taken from the movie: “I, Daniel Blake”
The Truth - (To lose yourself) – Falling into a non-exiting maze of a constant search for the answer to the question "Why do we still live?" can be mitigated if we turn to the question that reads "How do we want to live?" Dissatisfaction with being forced to live is not linked to any mental illness, but only with premature understanding that life is not my choice and with the consent to keep on reminding myself of that on a daily basis.

For The Lost

To trample the past and overcome
We are building the bridges that were burned…from the scratch
Unrestrained tremble in your voice
A weight of every tear flowing down your cheeks
Words of comfort cannot break shell
A shattered glass never to be fixed
Aim your defeat in those calloused hands
You try to repress, to unlearn, to forget
But how to fight unpredictability?
How to regain stability?
House full of people, house full of thoughts
(I want out)
Uninvited grief forms a room of remorse
Forced to avoid strangers’ eyes
(I am ripped apart)
Cheap gestures should be left aside
A cultural norm that needs respect?
“Let’s gather our prayers to farewell the dead”
If it makes pain easier, than you’re being ignorant
True salvation lies stealthy in your head
Turn your back, run away
Lousy critic is the worst you can get
(Counting stones…)
Your effort to act as truly as you feel
Will ease the pain that will never, ever heal
(with each mile I go)
For The Lost – (To lose support) - The song is dedicated to my good friend Marko from Sarajevo, whose father died of cancer. Unfortunately, I know a handful of people who lost or have grown up without a single parent, and although I may have had even closer examples in my own family, the reaction of my friend to the loss of his father directly prompted me to place all the thoughts and turmoil in my head on paper. The pressure of society on how we should accept someone's death is, to put it mildly, revulsive, and in that moment people’s selfishness comes up. If we could neutralize this, I believe we could overcome the process of mourning way quicker.

Litost

Nesnishodljiva trpljenja
Beznadežnih iskušenja
Neizbežna poniženja
Gde je ta ruka spasenja?
Nesigurnost utvrđuje temelj moga očaja
Dokle više seže ovaj nedogled besmisla?
Bezizrazni pogledi na ruke pune žuljeva
Natopljenih suzama
Litost – (To lose dignity) - the origin of the word comes from the Czech language, described by Milan Kundera in his book "The Book of Laughter and Forgetting" as "a state of sadness, born with the realization of one's own, suddenly discovered misery." Considering the lyrics, which was, in particular, written after the suicide of the „Gosa“ vehicles factory worker in 2017, due to inhuman working conditions and his inability to provide any kind of existence with his work, neither to him nor to his family, the title of the song, unfortunately, becomes very much clear.

Forever

I kept this secret for so long
I am still left with nothing
Was I trying hard or hardly trying?
Do my efforts count even though you deny them?
Escape confusion and find a place to hide in
You’ve been offered a shelter but you kept running
Take this burden off my back
I will not resist, I swear
Standing still, waiting for those words
Of what you expected and how it actually turned out
Frozen in place with a confused stare
Helping hand left to squeeze the air
Fighting along with repleted mind
I am still left with nothing
Your imprint could never be erased
Your words will never leave my head
You caused this life to go astray
I wish you were distant… miles away
Forever - (Izgubiti voljenog/u)– Jednoj od mnogih i nažalost jedinoj.
Forever – (To lose a loved one) - To one of many and unfortunately the only.
